Enjoying the rain
twittering swallows gather
around a puddle.
We’d had a little rain overnight. The following morning I was out walking my dog when we came across the sweetest scene. It was impossible not to smile at the happy noise of a small group of welcome swallows chirping excitedly as they took it in turns to splash about in a tiny puddle.
